Shawne Marie (Berry) Stewart
1949-2006

Shawne Marie Stewart 56, of Chandler, died Monday, October 16, 2006 at her home in Chandler, Arizona. She was born November 19, 1949 in Seattle, Washington, the daughter or Robert Max, Sr. and Bernice Elliot Berry. The family moved to Tucson in 1960 and Shawne graduated from Catalina High School in 1968. She married John William "Bill" Stewart on November 18, 1989 in Tucson, Arizona.

Shawne, a devoted wife and partner in life, worked alongside her husband Bill in their printing business. She was an excellent cook and homemaker who was gifted with an incredible sense of humor and a great love for her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Genise Lynn (husband, Ron) Jordan and Julie Ann Johnson of Tucson; Nancy Jo (Stewart) Gullick of White, Georgia and Mandy Lea Stewart of Marietta, Georgia; two sisters, Darlene Shields of Tucson and Robin Shelton of Denver; one brother, Robert M. (wife, Kathy) Berry II of Tucson; three grandchildren, Mathew Gullick, Joshua Gullick and Jacob Haight, all of White, Georgia; six nieces, five nephews, two great-nieces and four great-nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dog Chelsea. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, John William (J.W.) Stewart.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at Tucson Baptist Temple with Pastor Louis Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Waverly East Cemetery, Waverly, Illinois at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of the Valley, Phoenix, Arizona.
